What do Strata managers do?

Civium strata managers (also known as a body corporate manager or owners corporations manager, depending on the state or territory) are ultimately an administration resource for all owners within a Unit Complex. Our strata managers work with owners and the executive committee to seamlessly manage, maintain and organize finances for your complex. In turn, providing a thriving strata living environment for all owners.

Do you provide building maintenance & repair services?

Civium is responsible for both facilitating and monitoring maintenance and repair services for the common property of a building, no matter what this common property consists of. It is a strata manager's responsibility to engage tradespeople to ensure all building assets are kept clean, tidy, safe and up to the compliance standards required by legislation.

Common property is a shared asset between all owners so if there is ever confusion about which repairs and maintenance are handled by the strata, owners can always check in with their strata manager or bi-laws for confirmation.

In Australia, in which locations do you provide your services?

What is the difference between strata managers & property managers?

Where a property manager is hired by an owner to exclusively manage an individual's lease over private property, a strata manager works on behalf of all owners under the same strata scheme to manage a cohesive living environment, including all common property areas.
